“My name is Lindsay Nicole, I’ve been a full-time fashion retailer on apps like Poshmark, eBay and Makari for exactly a year now.
“And I have this YouTube channel where I documented my journey.”
She was a special education teacher for four years before making the leap from part-time resale to full-time.
Lindsay claims that in her first year of full-time employment she made total sales of $101,824 (£83,850).
She explained: “I started reselling in April 2020, I’m sure we can all remember that time in our lives.
“I was teaching remotely and I was bored to death.
“I came across the reselling community and got hooked on reselling YouTube videos.
“I’ve always casually resold on eBay, but didn’t realize it was a bigger picture than me to sell old things from my house.”
She started selling as a side hustle, and in May 2021 she had so much to do that she decided to do it full time.
Lindsay said it hasn’t been easy, but encouraged those interested to try reselling.
She added, “If you’re early in the resale journey, it’s so possible to get it, not only is it available, it’s available within a year.
“I made $101,824 (£83,850) in total sales on Poshmark, eBay and Makari in my first full year of reselling.”
In her first month she made a profit of $1,847 (£1,520), but March 2022 was her best month and she made a profit of $5,338 (£4,395).
She sold and hand-packed a total of 1,753 items in her first year and has no plans to slow down.
