Jeffree Star is about to move into his new $ 14.6 million mansion.
The YouTuber gave fans a glimpse of his touching process on Friday in a new video titled “Clean up our ENTIRE messy house!” Throughout the 19-minute footage, Star, her boyfriend, and a team of professional clothing salespeople sort through her clothes in hopes of selling most of them.
According to Star, he also plans to donate “things that are not Gucci and Chanel”.
In his new YouTube video, Jeffree Star says he plans to sell 75% of his designer wardrobe
Rather than selling each garment himself, Star enlisted the help of The True – an online second-hand store specializing in the sale of designer clothes. The clothes he chose to sell include pieces from brands like Balmain, Gucci, Tom Ford, Chanel and Louis Vuitton.
“If I never wear any of that again, why let it sit?” Star said in explaining his decision to purge his closets. “Let someone else enjoy it.”
Throughout her video, Star seemed surprised to find a lot of clothes in her closet.
At one point, Star’s cameraman asks how much of her wardrobe has never been worn. Star replies that the percentage is probably around 20%, and will prove it later.
Not only do several items in her closets still have labels on them, but Star also points out the shoes that are still packaged in their original boxes. There are also many items mentioned in the video that Star apparently has no memory of purchasing, such as Louboutin loafers and pairs of Gucci gloves.
One of the most alarming moments in the YouTube video is when Star pulls out a Gucci jacket that he says he forgot to come back after realizing it didn’t fit him. He then reveals a price tag of $ 12,500.
He also said he tends to “pile up everything” that he buys.
“I have, like, a fight in my head – like I came from nothing – like ‘oh my god I have to hoard it all’ or ‘I don’t wanna let go’ or like ‘oh my god I’ve spent money, all my hard earned work, “Star said.” But like, I’m in a different head space. “
He went on to say that he “doesn’t buy a lot of stuff anymore” and that most of his wardrobe was bought during a “crazy phase” of his life.
“I’m sure you notice – the makeup, the clothes and everything,” Star said. “Is it almost like everything is going to go away?” Do I have to raise because everything could be taken away from me like it was before during my Myspace days and all my tax problems like 10 years ago? “
Eventually, Star said he was now in “very good headspace” and “ready to take a lot out of the way”.
“I can’t wait that the sense of clutter isn’t there,” Star said.
YouTuber reportedly spent $ 14.6 million on his new mansion
According to E! New, Star’s new mansion measures 25,000 square feet, plus two guest houses and a 4,700 square foot garage. It is located in Hidden Hills, Calif., And reportedly cost $ 14.6 million, or $ 10.6 million more than its current home.
Inside the new mansion, Star will have access to eight bedrooms, 13 bathrooms, an elevator, sauna and spa. There is also a wine cellar, cinema room, bar, games room, swimming pool and gym on two floors.
