Two men have been arrested after police discovered cannabis, designer clothes and cash in a house during a raid. Officers made the discovery while searching the property on Wollaton Road, Wollaton.
Nottinghamshire Police said the raid by the city’s West Borough Police team followed reports that drug-related activity may be taking place. Several large bags of cannabis were discovered inside, along with a “large amount” of cash.
A large quantity of designer clothes was also discovered by the police during the search on Tuesday April 26. Two men, aged 27 and 30, were arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class B drugs and possession of criminal property.

Both suspects have since been released under investigation. Police investigations are continuing.
Sergeant Tracey Perkins, Nottinghamshire Police, said: ‘Our officers were able to discover a quantity of Class B drugs during a search of a house in the Wollaton area.
“We are carrying out this warrant after receiving information that drug-related activity may be taking place, this discovery allowing us to remove a quantity of drugs from our streets and out of circulation.
“Tackling drug-related activity is a key priority for us at City West, which is why we work so hard to respond to all reports of this nature that we receive.
“Our investigations are ongoing into this incident, so we ask anyone with information that could help us in our investigation to contact us by calling 101, quoting incident 108 of April 26, 2022.”
